Test Manager (m/f/d)
To strengthen our team we are looking for an experienced test manager to lead and coordinate complex test projects in large organisations — ideally in an international setting as well.
Fluent written and spoken German is mandatory for this position. It does not have to be your mother tongue, but your communication does have to be dependable.
Your responsibilities
- Plan, steer and monitor test activities in large-scale projects
- Create and maintain test strategies, test plans and test reports
- Coordinate and lead test teams, including in international and virtual settings
- Make sure quality standards and test processes are adhered to
- Work closely with project management, development, business units and external partners
- Manage risks and escalate test problems where necessary
- Report test progress and results to stakeholders
- Continuously improve test processes and methods
What you bring
- Several years of experience in test management, preferably in large organisations and international projects
- Fluent written and spoken German — not necessarily as a native speaker, but dependable in communication
- Good English for working in an international team
- Sound knowledge of test methods, processes and quality management
- Experience leading and coordinating test teams
- Confident use of test management tools such as Jira, ALM, Octane, SAP Solution Manager or Xray
- A structured, solution-oriented way of working and strong communication skills
Nice to have
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification
- Experience in both agile and traditional project environments
- Experience with well-known clients from industry, finance or automotive
