AI Test Expert (m/f/d)
We are looking for an expert in applying AI to the test process. You put AI where it measurably carries weight: generating and prioritising test cases, repairing brittle selectors, evaluating large regression runs. And you keep the result traceable — a black box helps nobody in quality assurance.
The role sits between test automation and applied AI. You work on our own platform, Testico®, and put it to use in client projects.
Your responsibilities
- Build and look after AI-assisted test case generation from requirements and user stories
- Introduce self-healing automation: scripts that survive changes to the interface
- Model, measure and refine risk-based prioritisation of test runs
- Evaluate large regression runs automatically and condense the findings
- Develop our platform Testico® further and apply it in client projects
- Keep every step traceable and auditable
- Work closely with test automation, development and business units
What you bring
- Several years of experience in test automation or quality assurance
- Confident knowledge of Python or Java
- Hands-on experience with LLM interfaces, prompt design and evaluating model output
- Understanding of test strategy, test design techniques and test data
- Experience with CI/CD and version control such as Git
- Knowledge of HTTP, JSON, REST and SQL
- Good English for working with the team and the client
- Knowledge of agile methods, preferably Scrum
- Experience with bug and test tracking systems, preferably Jira
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have
- Experience with RAG, vector databases or model fine-tuning
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium or UFT
- Knowledge of MLOps and of monitoring models in production
- Experience with data protection and model risk in an enterprise setting
