Account Executive Quality Assurance & Testing Services (m/f/d)
You win new clients for QualityOne. You find companies whose releases wobble too often, take them from the first conversation to a signed contract and hand over a project our test team looks forward to.
Our clients are banks, insurers, industrial companies and car makers that have to be able to rely on their software. We deliver test automation, performance and security testing, test management and Testing as a Service, backed by our AI platform Testico®.
The role is clearly focused on new business, above all in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On top of the fixed salary comes uncapped commission.
Your responsibilities
- Select target accounts and approach them yourself, by phone, LinkedIn, email and at events
- Run first meetings and work out with our test managers where the client is struggling
- Prepare proposals, effort estimates and pilot projects together with the delivery team
- Negotiate and close contracts, from the business unit to procurement
- Keep your opportunities tidy in the CRM and deliver a reliable forecast
- Pass feedback from the market on to marketing and management
What you bring
- Several years of selling complex IT services, ideally in software testing, quality assurance or IT consulting
- A proven record of winning new clients among mid-sized companies or corporations
- An understanding of how software is built and tested; you do not have to test yourself
- You enjoy setting your own meetings and owning the close
- Business-fluent German and good English
Nice to have
- Contacts in banking, insurance, industry or automotive
- Experience with framework agreements and the procurement departments of large companies
- ISTQB Foundation Level, or the willingness to earn it with us
